We move stores to Shopify from all major ecommerce platforms.
How long does an OpenCart to Shopify migration take?
Most OpenCart stores move in two to five weeks, depending on catalogue size, product options and design work.
Can you move OpenCart product options?
Yes. Options such as size and colour become Shopify variants, and more complex options are rebuilt with metafields or an options app.
Will I lose my Google rankings when I move to Shopify?
Not if the move is planned properly. We map every old OpenCart URL to its new Shopify address, set up 301 redirects, keep your titles and meta descriptions, and monitor Google Search Console after launch.
Can customers log in with their old passwords?
Passwords cannot be moved between platforms for security reasons. We import every customer account, and Shopify can send a friendly invitation so customers set a new password in one click.
Will my store go offline during the migration?
No. Your OpenCart store keeps selling while we build and test the new Shopify store. On launch day we switch the domain and run a final sync of new orders and customers.
