Tracking numbers only sync to TikTok Shop if two things are true: your carrier is on TikTok Shop's approved list of Integrated Carriers, and the tracking ID you upload is valid and traceable. If either fails, the tracking will not sync and the order will not move to Ready to Ship.
When you fulfill orders outside TikTok, using Shipped by Seller, you are free to pick your own logistics provider. That freedom comes with a condition, though, and it is the one that catches sellers out. TikTok Shop can only track a parcel if it recognises the carrier and can read the tracking number.
This guide covers how to check whether your tracking is valid, how carrier mapping works, and which carriers are currently approved in the UK and US.
TikTok Shop Integration — SPL
Pushes courier and tracking details from Shopify straight to TikTok Shop when you fulfill an order, so nothing gets typed twice or missed. Handles order import, fulfillment, returns and real-time inventory in the same place.
The two rules tracking has to satisfy
When fulfilling orders outside of TikTok, under Shipped by Seller, you can choose your own logistics service provider. You must meet both of these criteria, though, or the tracking will not sync:
- The logistics provider must be on TikTok Shop's approved list of Integrated Carriers.
- You must upload a valid, traceable tracking ID for every dispatched order in TikTok Shop Seller Center.
Both matter equally. A perfect tracking number from an unapproved carrier will fail, and an approved carrier with a mistyped tracking ID will fail too.
Why tracking numbers fail to sync
If tracking information is not making it from your ecommerce platform to TikTok Shop, it is almost always one of these:
| Cause | How to fix it |
|---|---|
| Carrier not on the approved list | Switch to an Integrated Carrier for that region, or check the dropdown for a supported alternative. |
| Carrier name does not match exactly | Map your carrier names to TikTok Shop's naming, character for character. |
| Tracking ID is invalid or not yet traceable | Check the number, and wait until the carrier has actually registered the parcel. |
| Wrong carrier selected for the number format | Use the carrier TikTok Shop auto-detects, unless you know it has guessed wrong. |
Step 1: Check whether your tracking information is valid
The quickest way to test a tracking number is to add it directly in Seller Center and see whether TikTok accepts it.
Go to Manage Orders in your TikTok Shop Seller Center.
Click Add Tracking Info on an order that is ready to ship. In the popup that appears, enter the Tracking ID. TikTok Shop then auto-detects the matching carrier based on the format of the number you entered.
Select the correct carrier from the dropdown, then click Confirm package(s).
✗ If it is invalid, an error message appears and the order stays where it is
Step 2: Set up carrier mapping
Your carrier names need to match TikTok Shop's approved carrier list exactly. A mismatch is one of the most common reasons tracking sync fails silently, because the platform has no way to connect "Evri" in your system with the entry it expects on its own list.
Check the naming used in the Seller Center dropdown and mirror it precisely in whatever system you fulfill from. Small differences in spelling, spacing or punctuation are enough to break the match.
How to check if your carrier is approved
You can see the full list of TikTok Shop Integrated Carriers directly in the shipping provider dropdown when adding tracking info. Approved carriers vary by region, so the list you see depends on where your shop is registered.

Tracking number FAQs
Why is my tracking number not syncing to TikTok Shop?
There are four usual causes. Your carrier is not on TikTok Shop's Integrated Carriers list for your region. Your carrier name does not match TikTok's naming exactly, so the mapping fails. The tracking ID itself is invalid or the carrier has not registered the parcel yet, meaning it is not traceable. Or the wrong carrier was selected for that tracking number format. Test the number in Seller Center using Add Tracking Info: if it is valid the order moves to Ready to Ship, and if not you will see an error.
Can I use any courier I want with Shipped by Seller?
You can choose your own logistics provider, but it has to be on TikTok Shop's approved Integrated Carriers list for your region. If you ship with a carrier that is not integrated, TikTok Shop cannot trace the parcel and the tracking will not sync, which leaves the order looking undispatched.
Where do I find the current list of approved carriers?
Open the shipping provider dropdown when adding tracking info in Seller Center. That dropdown shows the live list for your region, and it is more reliable than any published article because TikTok Shop updates its integrated carriers over time.
What does "carrier mapping" actually mean?
It means the carrier name in your system needs to line up with the name TikTok Shop uses on its approved list. If your platform says one thing and TikTok expects another, the platform cannot match them and the sync fails. Copy the naming from the Seller Center dropdown exactly, including spelling and spacing.
TikTok Shop auto-detected the wrong carrier. What do I do?
Auto-detection works from the format of the tracking number, and some formats are shared across carriers, so it can guess wrong. Just select the correct carrier manually from the dropdown before you click Confirm package(s). It is worth glancing at the detected carrier every time rather than accepting it blindly.
My tracking number is correct but still shows as invalid. Why?
A tracking ID has to be traceable, not just correctly formatted. If the carrier has not scanned or registered the parcel yet, the number exists on your label but returns nothing when checked. Give it time for the first scan to register, then add the tracking again.
Do I still need to add tracking manually if I fulfill from Shopify?
No. When you fulfill an order in Shopify or the SPL app and enter the carrier and tracking number there, those details are sent to TikTok Shop automatically. The carrier still needs to be an approved Integrated Carrier and the tracking still needs to be valid, so the rules on this page apply either way.
