Direction 1: Sync Shopify products to TikTok
If your products live in Shopify, this is how you push them to TikTok Shop.
Open the Product section
Open the SPL app in your Shopify Admin panel, then click the Product section in the TikTok Shop Connector.
Navigate to Shopify Products.
Here you will find all the products from your Shopify store. You can sync products individually or in bulk.
Sync individual products
- Locate the product you want to sync.
- Click the Sync button next to the product.
The product is processed and soon appears live on TikTok Shop.
If a product will not sync, use Fix Me
If you encounter any issues, click the Fix Me button.

Sync products in bulk
To list many products at once:
- Select multiple products from the list.
- Assign the correct category before syncing. This is crucial for successful bulk syncing.
- Add relevant attributes to improve visibility and ranking in TikTok's algorithm.
- Click Create Products on TikTok to finalize the sync.

If you already have listings on TikTok Shop, this is how you bring them into Shopify so both stores are managed together.
In the SPL app, click the Products option and open TikTok Products. You will see your existing TikTok listings. Check the Shopify Status column: products already synced show an Active status, while unsynced products need manual connection.
Method A: Connect to Shopify manually
You have two paths, depending on whether the product already exists in Shopify.
If the product is not in Shopify yet, click Connect to Shopify.
Select Create New Product.
The product is automatically created in Shopify.
If the product already exists in both TikTok and Shopify, you can link them instead. Click Connect to Shopify, then click Search to find the matching Shopify product.
Select the correct product and click Connect.
Your TikTok product is now linked with Shopify.
Method B: AI Connect (one click)
If you would rather not link products one by one, AI Connect brings your TikTok listings into Shopify in a single step. Go to the TikTok Products section.
Click AI Connect.
Your TikTok Shop products are now available in your Shopify store.

What is the difference between syncing Shopify to TikTok and connecting TikTok to Shopify?
It comes down to where your product lives now. Syncing Shopify to TikTok pushes a product from your Shopify catalogue out to TikTok Shop, using the Sync button or bulk sync. Connecting TikTok to Shopify does the reverse: it brings an existing TikTok listing into Shopify, either by creating a new Shopify product, linking to one that already exists, or using AI Connect. Both end with the two stores linked, so pick the direction that matches where your products are today.
How do I sync many Shopify products to TikTok at once?
Use bulk sync. In Shopify Products, select multiple products, assign the correct category (this is crucial for bulk syncing to succeed), add relevant attributes to help ranking, then click Create Products on TikTok. The selected products are created on TikTok Shop together, which is far faster than syncing them one at a time.
What does the Fix Me button do?
If a product runs into a problem while syncing, the Fix Me button opens the Power Editor, where you can follow simple instructions to resolve the issue, such as a missing category, attribute or field. Why do I need to assign a category before bulk syncing?
TikTok requires a category for each product, and for bulk syncing it is the single most important field to get right. Assigning the correct category before you click Create Products on TikTok is what lets the batch go through cleanly. If products fail to bulk sync, an unassigned or incorrect category is the usual cause. Category templates can save you repeating this for similar products.
What is the difference between Create New Product and connecting an existing one?
When bringing a TikTok product into Shopify, Create New Product is for items that do not exist in Shopify yet, SPL builds the Shopify product automatically. Connecting an existing product is for items that already exist on both sides: you click Connect to Shopify, search for the matching Shopify product, select it and click Connect. Linking existing products avoids creating duplicates, so use it whenever the product is already in your Shopify catalogue.
What is AI Connect and when should I use it?
AI Connect is the fastest way to bring your TikTok listings into Shopify. Instead of connecting products one by one, you open the TikTok Products section, click AI Connect, and your TikTok Shop products become available in your Shopify store. Use it when you have a number of existing TikTok listings to import and want them in Shopify without linking each manually.
