TikTok Shop Dropshipping: Never Miss an SLA or Tracking Sync Again

TIKTOK SHOP INTEGRATION

To fulfill TikTok Shop dropshipping orders with SPL, enable Auto Import Orders so TikTok orders flow into Shopify, let your supplier app such as AutoDS, CJdropshipping, Printify or DASZaa fulfill them, and SPL syncs the tracking number and carrier back to TikTok Shop automatically. The two things that make it work every time are shipping within TikTok's SLA and using an approved carrier that is correctly mapped in SPL.

Done right, TikTok Shop dropshipping is almost entirely hands-off: an order comes in, your supplier ships it, and the tracking lands back on TikTok without you touching anything. Done wrong, tracking fails to sync, orders miss their deadline, and your shop score takes the hit.

This guide walks the whole flow from order import to fulfilled, and spends real time on the two places sellers slip up, carrier mapping and the SLA window.

Not connected yet? This whole workflow starts once your TikTok Shop is linked to Shopify through SPL. If you have not done that step, begin with connecting your Shopify products with TikTok Shop using SPL.

TikTok Shop Integration — SPL

Auto-imports TikTok orders into Shopify so your dropshipping supplier can fulfill them, then watches for the tracking number and pushes it back to TikTok Shop. Carrier mapping translates your supplier's carrier names into TikTok's approved format so tracking actually syncs.

The dropshipping flow at a glance

Before the detail, here is the whole loop. Once these systems are connected, it runs without manual syncing or double entry.

STEP 1

TikTok order imports to Shopify

STEP 2

Supplier receives and ships it

STEP 3

Tracking added in Shopify

STEP 4

SPL syncs tracking to TikTok

Step 1: Auto-import orders to Shopify

With SPL connected, go to the SPL dashboard > Settings > Order Settings and enable the Auto Import Orders toggle. New TikTok orders then appear automatically in your Shopify order panel, tagged with the corresponding TikTok Shop. If nothing imports, our guide to why TikTok Shop orders fail to sync covers the usual causes.

Step 2: Orders reach your dropshipping supplier

As soon as an order lands in Shopify, your supplier app takes over. With AutoDS, CJdropshipping, Printify or DASZaa connected, the order is forwarded to the supplier. If automation is enabled in that supplier's app, it is fulfilled without any manual action. If not, you may need to confirm fulfillment yourself.

Once the item ships, the tracking number and shipping carrier are added to the Shopify order, automatically or manually depending on your supplier. SPL then monitors that tracking data in Shopify and syncs it back to TikTok.

Do not miss the SLA window. Late shipments can bring late-shipment penalties, a reduced shop score, payout delays, and account suspension for repeated violations. This is the single biggest risk in dropshipping, because your fulfillment speed depends on a supplier you do not directly control.

Step 3: Understand the TikTok shipping SLA

The SLA, or Service Level Agreement, is the maximum time TikTok gives you to fulfill an order and upload tracking after it is placed. Miss it and you are penalised, so it sets the pace your supplier has to keep.

Region Typical SLA
Domestic (for example UK, US) 72 hours from order time
Cross-border (for example China to EU) 5 to 7 days depending on route
Custom SLA (some shops) Varies, check the order details

As a rule, aim to fulfill within 72 hours unless TikTok has set a different SLA for your region or product category. When you pick a supplier, their dispatch speed is effectively your dispatch speed, so choose one that can consistently ship inside your window.

Step 4: Use TikTok-approved shipping carriers

TikTok Shop only accepts tracking from approved carriers. If you or your supplier uses an unrecognised carrier, SPL will not sync the tracking, TikTok may mark the order invalid or late, and the order can stay unfulfilled, hurting your store's performance.

To keep tracking flowing, confirm which carrier your supplier uses, such as YunExpress, DHL, EVRi or Amazon Logistics, then check it against the approved list in your TikTok Seller Center. Make sure that carrier is the one selected when fulfilling manually in Shopify, or the one your automation tool uses.

The naming trap: if the carrier name in Shopify differs even slightly from TikTok's accepted version, for example "EVRi" instead of "EVRi (Hermes)", SPL will fail to sync the tracking because it does not recognise the carrier. The fix is to map the carrier correctly in SPL, which is covered in the next step. Our tracking numbers guide goes deeper on approved carriers and why sync fails.

Common verified carriers used in dropshipping

Carrier Commonly used by
YunExpress AutoDS, CJdropshipping, DASZaa
4PX Express AutoDS, CJ
USPS Printify, DASZaa (US)
FedEx Printify, AutoDS
DHL Printful, AutoDS
Royal Mail DASZaa, Printify (UK)
Evri DASZaa (UK)

Carrier availability and approval change over time and by region, so always confirm against the live list in your TikTok Seller Center before relying on any published table.

Step 5: Map shipping carriers in SPL

If the carrier added in Shopify does not exactly match TikTok's approved carrier names, tracking will not sync. SPL lets you map carrier names between Shopify and TikTok so the system translates them correctly during sync.

Go to the SPL dashboard > Settings > Order Settings > Shipping Carrier. You will see a table with two columns: the Shopify Shipping Carrier on the left, and the TikTok Shipping Carrier to select on the right.

  1. In the Shopify Shipping Carrier column, find the carrier your supplier uses.
  2. Use the dropdown to select the matching TikTok Shipping Carrier, for example EVRi to EVRi, or Amazon Logistics UK to Amazon Logistics UK.
  3. Repeat for each carrier you use regularly.
  4. Click Save Mapping to apply the changes.

SPL will now translate Shopify carrier names into TikTok's required format whenever tracking syncs, cutting the chance of fulfillment errors or rejections. It is worth reviewing this mapping any time you add a new supplier or notice failed syncs in SPL.

Steps 6 and 7: Tracking syncs and fulfillment completes

Once the tracking number is added in Shopify by your supplier, SPL detects the update and automatically pushes the tracking number, the shipping carrier, and the fulfillment to TikTok Shop. The order status on TikTok changes to Shipped, and the buyer gets a shipping notification.

At that point the order is fully fulfilled on TikTok, SPL updates the status, and your shop stays in good standing with TikTok's performance policies. As long as you ship within the SLA and use a verified, correctly mapped carrier, the whole process is automated.

Dropshipping fulfillment FAQs

My dropshipping tracking is not syncing to TikTok Shop. Why?

Almost always because the carrier is either not approved by TikTok, or its name in Shopify does not exactly match TikTok's version, for example "EVRi" instead of "EVRi (Hermes)". SPL cannot sync tracking for a carrier it does not recognise. Confirm the carrier is TikTok-approved, then go to Settings, Order Settings, Shipping Carrier in SPL and map the Shopify carrier name to the matching TikTok one. Save the mapping and the tracking should sync on the next update.

Which dropshipping suppliers work with SPL?

SPL works alongside common supplier apps including AutoDS, CJdropshipping, Printify and DASZaa. SPL imports the TikTok order into Shopify, the supplier app fulfills it, and SPL syncs the resulting tracking back to TikTok. Whether fulfillment is fully automatic depends on the automation settings inside your supplier's own app.

What is the TikTok Shop fulfillment SLA?

The SLA is the maximum time TikTok gives you to fulfill an order and upload tracking. It is typically 72 hours for domestic orders, 5 to 7 days for cross-border routes, and sometimes a custom window shown in the order details. Missing it can trigger late-shipment penalties, a lower shop score, payout delays, and suspension for repeated violations.

Why does the exact carrier name matter so much?

TikTok matches tracking to a carrier from its approved list, and it matches on the exact name. If Shopify sends "EVRi" but TikTok expects "EVRi (Hermes)", the two do not match and the tracking fails to sync. Carrier mapping in SPL solves this by translating your Shopify carrier name into the format TikTok expects.

My order is stuck as unfulfilled. What do I do?

This usually means your supplier has not pushed the tracking number back to Shopify. Check the order in your supplier app, and if the tracking exists there but not in Shopify, add it manually to the Shopify order. Once tracking is present with an approved, mapped carrier, SPL will sync it to TikTok.

Do I have to do anything manually, or is it fully automated?

If your supplier app has automation enabled and your carriers are mapped, the flow is hands-off: order imports, supplier ships, tracking syncs back to TikTok with no manual steps. Manual input is only needed when your supplier does not auto-update tracking, or when a new carrier has not been mapped yet.

An order did not import into Shopify at all. What now?

The common cause is a SKU mismatch between TikTok and Shopify, which you can fix via Global Products in SPL. Confirm Auto Import Orders is enabled too. If it still does not appear, our guide on why TikTok Shop orders fail to sync walks through the full list of causes.
