Sell Across the EU from One Shopify Store: Intra-EU TikTok Sync

TIKTOK SHOP INTEGRATION
By Fatima Zahra · 31st July 2026 · 13 min read

If you sell across the EU, SPL's Global Products feature syncs one Shopify product to several Intra-EU TikTok Shops at once, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and any other EU markets you have connected, while letting you customise price, inventory and content per country. Pick your EU regions, set a global inventory and base price, add local euro pricing, choose shared or split stock, complete category and compliance details, then create and publish to each EU shop. One Shopify listing, every EU market.

For an EU-based seller, the opportunity is the whole single market: one catalogue reaching shoppers in Dublin, Paris, Milan, Berlin and Madrid. The challenge is doing it without maintaining five separate stores. Global Products is how SPL collapses that into one flow.

This guide walks the full Intra-EU sync, step by step, and calls out the pricing and inventory decisions that matter most inside the EU.

Intra-EU or cross-border, which one are you?

Intra-EU is for sellers based in the EU, selling across EU countries. That is this guide.

Cross-border is for sellers based outside a market, for example shipping into the EU from China, the UK or the UAE. If that is you, follow our cross-border product sync guide instead. The SPL steps are similar, but the shop type and rules differ.

What Intra-EU Global Products does

Once you have connected multiple TikTok Shops to your Shopify store with SPL, the Global Products feature syncs one Shopify product across several EU TikTok regions at once, while you customise price, inventory and content for each. It is the difference between listing a product five times by hand and listing it once, correctly, everywhere.

How to add multiple EU TikTok Shops

On the SPL dashboard:

  • Look at the top-right corner of the page, where a dropdown shows your currently connected shop.
  • Click the dropdown and select ➕ Add Shop to begin adding another TikTok Shop.

After a successful connection, the newly added shop appears in the dropdown list alongside your existing shops. Repeat to connect all your EU-region TikTok Shops to one Shopify store. For the full multi-shop walkthrough, see connecting multiple TikTok Shop stores with SPL.

Step 1: Go to Global Products

On the SPL app sidebar, click Global Products. You will see a list of your Shopify products that can be synced to your TikTok Shops.

Step 2: Select a product to sync

From the list of available products, click the product you want to publish to multiple TikTok Shops, then click Sync to TikTok Shop.

Step 3: Choose your EU regions

At the top of the Global Products page, select the regions, meaning the TikTok Shops, where you want to publish. Tick the boxes for your EU markets, such as:

  • IE – Ireland
  • FR – France
  • IT – Italy
  • DE – Germany
  • ES – Spain, and any other EU markets you have connected.

Only the selected shops receive the product listing, so you decide exactly which EU countries a product appears in.

Step 4: Set global inventory and base price

Here you define the total stock available and the base price, before it is distributed across your EU shops.

  • Global Inventory: the total number of units you are selling across all connected TikTok regions.
  • Base Price: the default price, typically in your Shopify store's base currency such as EUR, applied unless you override it regionally.

This tells SPL how many units exist in total, and what the default price should be when syncing.

Set local pricing per EU country

You can manually assign a different price for each EU shop. Every market then displays its own product price on TikTok, giving you full control over regional pricing.

Country Local price
IE (Ireland) €31.99
FR (France) €29.49
IT (Italy) €30.99

Even inside the eurozone, prices rarely match across countries. Local pricing is best when you want to adjust for market demand, VAT differences, or country-specific promotions.

Step 5: Apply regional inventory and pricing

The Apply Inventory button decides how your global stock is used across your EU shops. Clicking it gives two options.

Option 1

Set global inventory as base

All selected EU shops pull from one shared pool. Enter 300 units and IE, FR and IT each see 300, sharing that pool. A sale in France reduces stock for every region.

Best for a centralized warehouse, or fulfilling from a single EU location.

Option 2

Distribute inventory between regions

Assign a specific quantity to each shop, for example IE 100, FR 120, IT 80. Each market has its own limit, so orders in one region do not affect stock in another.

Best for stock held in different countries, or testing markets individually.

Step 6: Select category, brand and attributes

Before syncing, complete the TikTok-required fields. Choose the Product Category from TikTok's dropdown, for example Skin Care then Serums.

Select a Brand. If it is not listed, choose No Brand or submit a request via TikTok Seller Center.

Product attributes

These are category-specific details that describe your product, such as color, size, material or ingredients. For a skincare product they might be Skin Type: All Skin Types, Net Volume: 50ml, Fragrance: Unscented, Color: White. TikTok Shop and Shopify use these attributes to classify your products correctly, meet category requirements, and improve searchability. In SPL you may be asked to fill in or map them during the sync.

Confirm regulatory marking or labels

This covers any official certifications or compliance labels your product needs for its type or target market. Examples include the CE Mark for electronics in the EU, FCC certification in the US, and RoHS, FDA or recycling symbols. TikTok Shop requires these confirmations for legal and compliance reasons, especially for regulated goods like electronics, cosmetics or toys. In SPL you may be prompted to confirm your product has these markings.

EU compliance is enforced. Countries like Germany and France apply strict import and product rules, so confirm only the markings that genuinely apply to your product, and check your obligations with a qualified professional if you are unsure. Compliance is a legal responsibility, not a checkbox to clear quickly.

Save your selection as a template

Check the box to save your selection as a template for future use.

You can also assign a custom name to the template, then click Save Template to store it. Reusing it across similar EU products saves repeating these choices each time, as covered in our guide to creating category templates to auto-map products.

Step 7: Sync the product to your EU TikTok Shops

Once everything is filled in, click Create Products on TikTok.

The draft will not go live until you switch between your Intra-EU shops and manually publish per region. To do this:

  1. Go to the shop selector at the top-right corner of the SPL dashboard.
  2. Select each Intra-EU TikTok Shop one by one, for example France, Italy, Germany.
  3. Inside each shop, choose the region.
  4. Confirm the product details and click Publish for that specific region.

This ensures the product is actively synced and visible on every selected EU TikTok Shop.

Intra-EU sync FAQs

What is the difference between Intra-EU and cross-border selling?

Intra-EU means you are based in the EU and selling across EU countries, for example an Irish business selling into France, Italy and Germany. Cross-border means selling into a market from outside it, such as a China or UAE seller shipping to the EU. The SPL Global Products steps are similar for both, but the TikTok shop type and its rules differ, so make sure you are set up as the right type for your situation.

Can I set different prices for each EU country?

Yes. During the sync you can assign a local price per country, for example €31.99 in Ireland, €29.49 in France, and €30.99 in Italy. Each market displays its own price on TikTok. This matters even within the eurozone, since VAT rates and local demand differ from one country to the next.

Should I share one inventory pool or split it across EU shops?

It depends on where your stock sits. Set Global Inventory as Base has every EU shop draw from one shared pool, so a sale anywhere reduces stock everywhere, which suits a single central warehouse. Distribute Inventory Between the Regions gives each shop its own capped quantity, for example IE 100, FR 120, IT 80, which suits stock held in different countries or testing a market individually.

Which compliance labels apply for EU markets?

It depends on the product. Common EU ones include the CE Mark for electronics, plus RoHS, FDA-style confirmations for cosmetics and health items, and recycling symbols. TikTok requires these confirmations for regulated goods, and countries like Germany and France enforce them strictly. Confirm only what genuinely applies, and check your obligations with a qualified professional if you are unsure, since this is a legal responsibility.

Why is my product still a draft after I created it?

That is expected. Clicking Create Products on TikTok saves the product as a draft. It goes live only when you switch between your Intra-EU shops using the top-right shop selector, choose the region inside each shop, confirm the details, and click Publish for that region. Repeat for each EU shop you are selling in.

If I update a product in Shopify, does it update every EU shop?

Yes. Once the product is live, any price, stock or content updates you make in Shopify automatically sync to all connected TikTok Shops. That central control is the main benefit of Intra-EU Global Products: you maintain one Shopify listing rather than editing five separate TikTok listings by hand.

Can I reuse my category and compliance setup for other EU products?

Yes. During the compliance step you can save your selection as a named template, then reuse it for future products in the same category. It saves repeating the category, attribute and compliance choices each time, which adds up when you are listing many similar products across several EU markets.
