Auto Import On-Hold Orders
This setting automatically imports On-Hold TikTok orders into Shopify as draft orders, so you can reserve inventory before the order becomes actionable. It is the practical answer to the fact that On-Hold orders normally cannot be fulfilled or synced yet.
Once the order status changes to Awaiting Shipment, the draft order converts into a real order, enabling fulfillment and inventory syncing while keeping your order list organised.
Order name prefix
You can add a prefix to the Shopify order name, or leave the field empty:
- With a prefix, the imported order is named in the format prefix-AUTO_INCREMENT_NUMBER, for example TT-1001.
- Left blank, the order uses the default TikTok order number.
A prefix like "TT" makes TikTok orders instantly recognisable in a Shopify admin that also holds orders from other channels, which is a small touch that pays off at a glance.
Exclude Discounts
This setting prevents TikTok discounts from importing into your Shopify orders. The benefit is avoiding double-discounting or accounting mismatches, where a discount already applied on TikTok gets applied again or recorded twice in Shopify.
It is particularly useful if you run Shopify-side automations, reports or accounting that assume order totals are clean, since it keeps the imported figures aligned with what you actually collected.
Set Order Import Time as Order Creation Time
By default, an imported order can carry the time it was imported into Shopify. This setting instead uses TikTok's original creation timestamp, so the Shopify order reflects when the customer actually placed it.
The benefit is accurate historical records for reporting and analytics. If you analyse sales by date, this keeps your Shopify data honest, an order placed at 11pm does not show up as the next morning simply because that is when it imported.

Why would I import On-Hold orders as draft orders?
To reserve inventory early. On-Hold orders cannot normally be fulfilled or synced yet, so importing them as Shopify draft orders lets you hold the stock aside during TikTok's hold period without creating a full order. When the status changes to Awaiting Shipment, the draft converts into a real order and fulfillment and inventory sync begin. It is especially useful on fast-selling items where you do not want stock oversold while an order is paused.
What does the order name prefix do?
It adds a label to the front of the Shopify order name. If you enter a prefix, imported orders are named prefix-AUTO_INCREMENT_NUMBER, for example TT-1001. What is an FBT order, and should I skip it?

Skip FBT Order Import leaves those orders out of Shopify so your order list and inventory stay focused on what you actually fulfill. Skip them for a cleaner fulfillment view, or keep them if you want Shopify to hold a complete record of every sale for reporting.
Do these settings change existing orders or only new ones?
